I know it’s already mid-January but to be honest I’m still a bit in shock that 2023 is behind us! The tail end of 2023 was a whirlwind (as December always seems to be) with Christmas concerts, holiday parties, checking off the to do lists, of course Christmas itself and an end of the year getaway that is always a welcome break. Thanks for spending a bit of time in my corner of the world wide web – I hope it brings you a little joy & inspiration!
Below I’m rounding up what I bought or was gifted and loved this December! Some items are new to me and some are old favorites that were reordered! I know I’m always curious about others’ favorites so here’s a peek into my recent purchases from the past month!
What I bought in & loved in December
- This Velvet ribbon was a big hit in 2022 and continued to be in 2023. I reordered this roll that I love for holiday gift wrapping. The various shades of red and pink would be darling for Valentine’s Day gifting!
- This under $40 lamp shocks everyone when they walk through my door. It’s quite minimalist but the pleated lamp shade makes it look much nicer than the price would allude.
- I think this is my third restock of this body oil. It smells DIVINE and feels so luxurious on your skin, especially in the winter when our skin is typically drier. You can use MARYANDCREW10 for 10% off your purchase (psst… the body butter is also deliciously amazing!)
- These little apothecary jars corral all the little things for guests. I have them in each bathroom with cotton pads, qtips and cotton balls.
- A best seller of 2023 – I wear these socks almost daily, especially when working out or going on a long walk.
- A beautifully packaged candle that makes a thoughtful hostess gift while also being incredibly easy to gift since it needs no wrapping. I like to light it after the kids go to bed and enjoy some chamomile tea while catching a show.
- Not at all glamorous but essential. I happened to order these electrolyte packs (think pedialyte but far superior ingredients) for an upcoming trip and our family just so happened to go down with a stomach virus right after they arrived. They were a godsend and sadly all we ate on Christmas Eve but was grateful to have them at the ready.
- These rattan lampshades are the perfect addition to those battery operated lights that are all the rage! I ordered two and use them in my kitchen for a few dimly lit corners.
- This little gadget was in all three of my kids stockings at Christmas. We brought them to Hawaii and they were the hit of the trip! Even my husband Ben geeked out over them.
- I ordered this fleece reversible vest for my daughter and it is SO cute! The boys version is equally as cute!
- This puffer vest has been a godsend these last few weeks in LA. It’s just the right amount of warmth without being too too heavy.
- Another best seller in 2023, these printable dolls were a hit at Christmas and once you order the download you can print them as many times as you’d like!
- I ordered these nail polish remover wipes that are non-acetone and non-toxic to try and truly don’t know why I didn’t order them earlier! They’re great for travel.
- It’s no surprise that I love a platform heel! I ordered these brown leather ones for a more neutral pair and they are incredibly comfortable.
- I picked up these sandals for our recent trip to Hawaii. Chic and incredibly comfortable (at a great price too!)
