Every year as a kid I used to LOVE back-to-school shopping. Now that I have my own children, I get to experience it all over again. I love perusing through stores picking out fun colorful pens, journals, and folders with them. I’ve put together this round-up of my favorite back-to-school items that your crew will love! Backpacks and Lunch Box Essentials
Backpacks are cuter and cuter each year! I have had my eye on this one for my daughter – love the pop of color! I do try and order backpacks that the kids will use for a few years – so quality is key! For lunchboxes we have relied on bento-inspired lunch boxes, making packing school lunches a breeze. These are the lunch boxes we’ve had for years. They go in the dishwasher daily and still look brand new. You can’t forget to pack a water bottle – these are the ones we love! I also love popping a cute note into the kids lunchbox every so often – these cards make that easy!
School Uniforms
Having a school uniform truly makes getting ready each morning so much easier! Having many options that your kids can mix and match makes mornings just that much more enjoyable. My boys love these pants and shorts! I also always make sure to have plenty of sweaters and sweatshirts that match our dress code on hand. Don’t forget to accessorize with fun bows or a pop of color in a pair of sneakers!
School Outfits & Play Clothes
Whether your littles have a uniform, or dress code or can wear whatever their heart loves to school here is a round-up of my favorite “play clothes”! This fall is full of warm colors and fun prints! When ordering my kid’s pieces, I try and pick things that will all match with each other so it makes putting together and outfit that much easier.
School Supplies
Who doesn’t love school supplies? I like start the year off with a new pencil case (that they pick out) full of the classics for my kids! We always pop in fun erasers, markers, colorful pens, and fun notebooks. If your little needs headphones, I swear by these ones. We use this rolling organizer to keep all the supplies in one place at home. And even though most of the time the school supplies are for the kids this desktop calendar is a must for my household! Keeps all the important dates where everyone can see them!
