DIY twisted tapers 💘 …

These easy to DIY spiral candlesticks make the perfect addition to any dinner table. All you’ll need is colored tapers of choice, a tall jar, hot water, parchment paper and a rolling pin or glass bottle.

💗Fill a glass container with hot water (110-120°F), place taper candles in & let sit for about 10 minutes until soft and pliable.

💗Take taper and place in a zip lock bag or between parchment paper, roll out the middle with a rolling pin, leaving 2” at the top and bottom.

💗Take both ends of the candle and twist with your fingers; if it hardens, return it to warm water. Once twisted place in cold water to set!

💗Festive tablecloth, napkins, florals and dishes optional but strongly recommended for a fabulous evening in.

There are no words to describe what the city of LA is going through right now. Thank you to everyone who has reached out, donated time, money & efforts to our city. It does not go unnoticed. I’m first hand witnessing community come together like never before and am a proud to call Los Angeles home.

I’ll be resuming limited content on here - proceeds from all commissions for the remainder of the week will be going towards relief efforts around the the city. As always, thank you for being here and know that I don’t take my voice here lightly ❤️‍🩹

Life doesn’t slow down with four kids. I won’t let my postpartum body that’s done so much for me rob me of the joy of being with my kids because of a few extra pounds. Your pre-baby body will come back but this time is fleeting. Grab a few suits a size or two bigger that make nursing easy and a handful of pareos that feel elevated but also easy along with a big sun hat, chair and umbrella and enjoy those baby snuggles.

A nursery for our littlest 🫶🏻 When it came time to design a nursery for our fourth baby—our sweet little boy—I wanted the space to feel timeless, serene, and filled with meaningful touches. We converted our small office and used a classic blue-and-white palette. While the room has subtle nods to the sea—like soft stripes—the overall feel leans more into a classic and collected style. Check your breasts 💗 It might end up saving your life, and maybe another’s too.

When my life was turned upside down in 2020 due to a breast cancer diagnosis, it felt like my dream to welcome another baby into our family (amongst so many other dreams too) was gone in a blink. Because of treatment options and research (and let’s be real, fighting like heck), I get to witness joy in the everyday, celebrate the little & the big things and finally meet that little one we’ve wanted for so long.
