This year, I’ve been mixing rattan and woven accents with darker fall tones to create that cozy, seasonal feel without straying too far from my usual aesthetic. A few woven pumpkins on the console or rattan lanterns by the front door instantly bring warmth to the space — and they transition beautifully from early fall through Thanksgiving.
To give it a subtle Halloween twist, I’ll add black paper bats across a mirror or mantel — they’re simple, graphic, and strike that perfect balance between festive and refined.

Outside, a few neutral pumpkins, rattan baskets, and lanterns set a welcoming tone without feeling too “decorated.” I like the mix of natural and slightly moody — it feels like Halloween, but still fits seamlessly into everyday life. But we also love to pepper in a few a few witch hats
It’s all about finding that sweet spot between cozy and chic — those small details that make your home feel festive while staying true to your style.

Favorite Easy Pumpkin Carving Hack: Cookie Cutters!
Every year I forget just how messy and time-consuming carving pumpkins can be — until I tried this simple hack: metal cookie cutters! Instead of wrestling with carving knives, just press your favorite cookie cutter shapes (stars, moons, hearts — even letters!) into the pumpkin and tap gently with a rubber mallet. It’s so much easier, cleaner, and safer for little hands.
