Embarking on a fall adventure calls for a thoughtfully curated travel packing capsule wardrobe that embraces both elegance and practicality. Living in Los Angeles means we don’t have a typical “fall” season, so putting together this wardrobe has been a joy!
When I curate a capsule wardrobe I focus on pieces that I can mix and match—adding pieces you can layer and accessories that can change up a look with one swap. I always make sure I have a few key pieces, a classic trench, a great pair of jeans, a tote that I can use on travel days and while bopping around town, and a comfortable pair of sneakers (I am eyeing these).
I love building these wardrobes as the season changes and it always excites me for what is to come! While I wish I were jetting off on a fun adventure this fall, I hope some of these pieces do make it into your suitcase! This capsule wardrobe guarantees that you’ll be stylishly dressed for any museum visit, café stop, or exciting adventure that comes your way!
Make sure to read over my capsule wardrobe for fall from last year! If you are traveling somewhere warm here is my summer capsule wardrobe. If you are going to New England this fall here is my New England Fall Capsule Wardrobe.
A Few Tips When Curating a Capsule Wardrobe:
- Accessories and layers!
- Picking a similar color story allows you to mix and match
- Focus on basics with a few “hero” pieces
- Use a packing guide – this is the one I print out trip after trip!
