Spring is almost here which means the countdown to spring break and spring travel is on! I try and make travel a priority with my family as a way to explore new places and cultures and also unplug from our daily routines. We don’t have a ton of travel plans this spring, staying around California mostly, but many of you asked for a curated packing guide for a spring trip to Europe (can I come in your suitcase?) so here are a few things I would be packing for my crew!
Similar to most of my travel guides I always try and pick a color scheme, this way almost all clothes can be mixed and matched and everyones outfits can loosely coordinate! When traveling abroad with littles having comfortable shoes is key, many trips tend to be very walking-heavy. I also try and pack pieces that I can layer. The weather can really vary with warm and cool temperatures as well as rain and sunshine so having sweaters and/or light coats is important!

Spring Packing Guide for Kids
My kids are old enough to tow along their suitcases now. We have used these on most of our trips! For their carry-on, I rotate between their ll bean totes, these backpacks, or both (putting the backpack in their carry-on! I will ultimately use one to carry their journals, camera, and water bottle throughout our trip! I did pick up this packable backpack for myself last summer before our trip to Paris and do love it!
