I adore Mother’s Day, spending the day with my littles, opening their handmade cards, and enjoying breakfast in bed! This year this is on my wishlist, a random gift but it’s one of those that’s a splurge for what it is and I think it would be cute in our kitchen! I also have had my eye on this pitcher, and this vanity case! I received this bag last year for Mother’s Day and it’s been a favorite, especially for travel!
Earlier this week I polled a few of my most fashion forward girlfriends in LA and asked them what they REALLY want this Mother’s Day.. no holding back. And they delivered. From surfboards and a yoga retreat to perfume, necklaces and new sneaks. Here’s what made the edit:
CD (my gf who has a self-proclaimed master in shopping) : Yearly & Co gold bangles (“my absolute fav! I have 5. But the more the merrier. They are so great!”) , Dyson air wrap, Gold initial necklace, Lana gold cross necklace or this cross necklace. And this apple watch band!
AY: “I’m ready for a new robe, cliche? Yes, but these things get worn out. An infrared mask, kindle – I have the app on my phone but I get distracted and stop reading. A updated necklace (use MARY15) that says I have kids close to my heart but not as obvious, any jewelry, and an awesome summer beach hat.”
LB: “A new light shorter light weight bathrobe – silk or cotton, Gucci perfume (a floral verse), and A dream gift – a 3-4 day yoga retreat.”
EH: “A new surf board and Heidi Merrick new rash top in walnut. They are the cutest!”
ET: ”These understated & versatile Suede green sneakers, a new tote – I love this one made in France with plenty of room, sturdy straps and structure for all the kid’s things & a restock of my favorite shampoo. Please send this list to my husband!”
NB: “This White Sapphire gold necklace and I just bought myself this cutie spring/summer cross-body.”
HG: “Vintage estate Jewelry, Cultivate What Matters journal and planner, Cover poppy beginner embroidery kit, Fortuna face oil, Caldera face oil (geared toward men but I also love it), Saint Jane eye cream, Jill buck hair rollers, Goe body oil, and this book!”
PB: “I asked for flowers and wine from BLÜM (the new natural wine shop in town), a Jenni Kayne candle (Topanga scent is my favorite but they’re all so good)!”
I hope there’s something here for even the most hard-to-shop person!
