Just like many of you, my family will be headed to Europe for a few weeks in July! I could not be more excited to explore a few new cities and revisit a few favorites with my crew. Whether I am traveling with my kids in tow or solo I always like to have a few of these gadgets in hand – these are the key to – no lost luggage, no dead phones, no wrinkled clothes, and a seamless travel experience. All of these tech gadgets are compatible in most European countries so not to worry – you won’t trip a circuit!
If you are traveling with kids make sure to check out my tips and tricks for traveling with my crew. There are a few things that in my eyes are a must, like these portable booster seats, this Polaroid camera, these air tag bracelets, and these kid’s headphones.
My Top 10 Travel Gadgets:
- Travel adaptor plug, this one comes with components to swap out and make it compatible with most European countries. I love that it has USB ports and a USB-C cord. It’s the only one I travel with! ddddddddd
- Portable Chargers, there is nothing worst than a dead phone when trying to navigate and document travels – I always pack these two portable charges. This one is magnetized to the back of your phone and this one comes with USB and USB-c cords attached!
- Travel steamer, I will be the first to admit that I have short-circuited a steamer that I “thought” was travel safe… but it was not! This small portable steamer is now the only one I travel with, it’s compact but gets the job done!
- A Packable duffle, the best travel hack out there! A friend of mine introduced me to this tip a few years ago and I swear I don’t travel without it! If you are like me and you utilized every ounce of space on the way over for a trip – it doesn’t leave room for shopping and souvenirs. This packable duffle you can just throw in your carry on and then on your way home you can pack an extra bag to check – problem solved!
- Travel Mirror, just simply a must-have – I love this one as it’s compact but also has built-in lighting so no matter where you are applying your make up you are covered.
- Clear Toiletry bags, these tsa-compliant toiletry bags come in a set of two and are great for packing everything from your makeup to toothpaste. Add on these fun monogrammed stickers for a personalized look!
- Luggage scale, we all dread the weigh-in at the ticketing counter when traveling. This portable scale can save you the headache and possible instances where you have to move things around between bags at the counter.
- Magnetic Hat Clip, when traveling especially during the summer I always find hats the most difficult thing to pack, I bought this hat clip last summer, and really has been a gamer changer. Simply stack your hats inside each other and clip on the magnet and attach them to your carry-on!
- Airfly for Bluetooth headphones, this handy gadget allows you to connect any Bluetooth headphones to airplane monitors.
- Airtag, is very self-explanatory but we don’t travel without these for multiple reasons. I always put them in each of our bags even if we’re doing a carry-on as we all know something that makes you gate check your bags. I also like to put them into a keychain or bracelet and attach them to my kids when we are in busy areas and touring around.
