At the end of September I gave the kids a big squeeze & said “see you soon!”, hopped on a plane and headed east to New York for a few nights. Upon arriving I checked into the Evelyn Hotel, a perfectly located, avant-garde glam boutique hotel. After dropping off my bags, I headed to the Meatpacking District for dinner at Pastis. A chill was in the air and this cape was the perfect accessory for the evening.
The next few days were spent at meetings, lunches and dinners across the city. I enjoyed meals at some of my favorite restaurants in the city.
While in New York, I spent some time strolling exhibits at The Metropolitan Museum of Art & The Guggenheim. The agenda included a bit of shopping on the UES and I made sure to grab a flat white at Ralphs Coffee while in the neighborhood. Of course there was shopping along 5th Avenue and I was able squeeze in a few hours of people watching & wandering in Central Park.
Here’s a few highlights of what was in my suitcase along with a couple of snaps from the week.
