September came and went in a blink (no surprise there) and felt like a bridge between summer and fall.. Still warm enough for a day at the beach but eyeing fall coats. Plus I have halloween on my mind. Anyone else feel like they need to get on Halloween costumes STAT?!. A few things I truly loved in September along with your favorites from the month!
I love a pair of wide leg, high rise denim. This pair checks all the boxes while staying budget friendly. Their penny loafers made the cut along with this suede tote.
Another denim favorite – a subtle barrel leg in off white but honestly I could grab every shade. Paired with my go to white tank and Chanel 31 mini bag.
Starting to chip away at little halloween baskets for the kids. I usually include a pair of halloween PJs, a book, a craft and something unique for each kid. These earrings are a favorite for my 12 year old. Not too precious, cute designs (especially these for halloween!) and never have to be taken off. These personalized name bracelets are also darling!
Clean Beauty junkie through and through and Merit continues to impress! I dove into their Merit x ERDEM collab sets. I’ve found myself wearing their lipstick all month. Particularly in shades I often wouldn’t gravitate to but was surprised how much I love them.
I received quite a few goodies from Everlane in September and the prices pleasantly surprised me. These organic cotton twil barrel leg pants are under $100 and work for fall in LA. Just the right weight for a warmer fall. Their cashmere holds it own. Dare I say their white tees are some of the best I’ve tried (under $40).
I’m always testing out new non-toxic products for our home move the needle while also being safe around the kids. This dish soap does the job with minimal ingredients and smells divine. Body lotion has 100% always been an afterthought.. until I tried Uni and now use it nightly. It’s finally the one lotion that doesn’t feel greasy and lasts a solid 24 hours. Don’t worry, all clean ingredients too.
No one does fall like J.McLaughlin. I especially love their cable knit sweaters, button downs (with ruffles nonetheless) handbags and belts. This skirt also made its way into my fall wardrobe.
Taffeta is everywhere this fall. These pants are particularly fun and come in a variety of colors. I paired with this classic top that honestly goes with everything.
