Everything I Wore in Europe for 2 Weeks With 4 Kids (Part 2)

Packing for Europe with four kids is never simple. But with the right outfits, it gets easier. This post shares what I wore in Europe, look by look. Part two of a two-part series (part 1 here). Each one held up to airports, cobblestones, and chasing kids. Read on for real outfits that worked for family adventure. Why These Outfits Worked for Family Travel

Traveling with four kids means comfort comes first. However, that doesn’t mean giving up style. Every outfit below balanced both. I also packed light, so each piece had to work hard. As a result, most items repeat across looks in new combinations.

First on the trip: a dear friend’s wedding just outside London. The first night called for something colorful and I’ll take any excuse to wear this dress. The bag was an unexpected twist that I could use all three evenings.

I tried on a dozen pairs of jeans before this trip and these were a hands down winner. A perfect boyfriend jean with straight leg and mid rise waist that works for chasing after kids and getting ready in a pinch.

For the third evening of the wedding, the dress code was jewel tones. This dress packed well and the color was so vibrant. I love the neckline and unexpected back. I parked it with simple nude heels and a fun handbag for the evening.

We started the trip with a week in Switzerland and mainly biked, hiked and train-ed our way around the Bernese Oberland region (more about our itinerary here!). I packed three sets of these workout shorts and tee’s.

I packed this tank in four different colorways so I could mix and match them throughout our trip. These statement pants are splurgy but so so good.

I kept my toiletries extremely tight this trip knowing we’d be packing and unpacking several times during our 2 week travels. I always pack my own shampoo and conditioner and this full size texture spray is a must if you have a bob. It gives you a little extra volume. This dual voltage blow dryer and styling brush is fantastic. I also love this dual voltage steamer.

I just love a set while traveling and this one is no exception. You can mix and match the pieces throughout the trip or pair together for a polished look.

We had the best dinner of the entire trip on the last night of our travels. I was down to just a few tees and paired this under $40 tee with these brown pants.

Traveling with kids on a long haul red eye really required a reliable travel outfit and travel days with kids calls for comfort above all else. Therefore, I kept this look simple: soft layers, sneakers, and one easy bag.

Packing day! These jeans are the best! Packing for four kids for two weeks plus fitting everything and hauling it across the globe is no easy task. I counted 25 pairs of shoes between all the kids, myself and my husband (think hiking boots for Switzerland, dress shoes for London, everyday sneakers and sandals for the kids!) That’s 16 pairs of shoes alone hah!
